I love getting to be a part of this mission with you.

I’ve had the privilege of watching God work here in and through each of you who help make it possible for over nine years now. When I joined this team in 2015, our Skillman clinic had already been open for two years. As I jumped in it was just amazing story after amazing story. I thought I had a framework for what it might look like for a bunch of Christians to run an outreach clinic. But my understanding of what God was doing was far too small.

I’ll never forget the first time I sat with a woman contemplating abortion or met my first survivor of torture. There was also that summer where we befriended a homeless couple who was staying near our clinic. And I’ll never forget participating in the baptism of a Muslim woman who had converted because, while fleeing a dangerous situation in the middle east, she found hope and healing by connecting with the body of Christ (all because her son needed a school physical!).

The stories and gospel impact are endless over here, and every time I think I’ve understood how big God is, or what He’s capable of doing, He just has a way of bursting out of whatever box I’ve put Him in.

This year was no different.

Yet again, God did more than we ever could have imagined…and you’ll just have to read the following pages to see which unbelievable story I’m referring to this time.

After over 11 years of these types of stories, we as a ministry still can’t believe what can happen in one day in our clinics.Hope fully as you read through these pages you experience some of the same wonder at the great-ness of God’s plans that we get to experience inside our clinics each day.
